Flathead Lake is a Boaters paradise, and can accommodate boats of any size. The lake is so large that it has several towns located on its shores.  This makes it an ideal lake for destination boating; traveling to different parts of the lake by boat, for food, entertainment, and family fun.  There are several Marinas and gas stations dotting the lake, allowing for easy refueling and repairs if needed.  The lake is diverse, with many protected bays, creating smooth conditions to enjoy water sports.  There are miles of shoreline and islands to explore, only accessible by boat.  Unlike many smaller lakes, that can get extremely congested on weekends and holidays, Flathead Lake affords plenty of space to enjoy your activities with very little boat traffic.
