WEST SHORE – Flathead Lake
Spanning South from Lakeside to Polson along Highway 93, the West Shore of Flathead Lake offers some of the most majestic views of the Lake, Islands, and Mission Mountains. The West Shore is made up of several small residential lake communities, including:
Rollins – Boasting beautiful protected bays, small islands and a varied shore line – from rock face cliffs to gentle slopped pebble beaches. Rollins offers a small general store, post office, gas station, and antique store
Dayton – Dayton has the best view of Wild Horse Island, a state park and the largest island on Flathead Lake. Between the Islands and Dayton lies Dayton Bay, known for its consistent light winds, making it ideal for sailing. Dayton’s amenities include The Dayton Yacht Club, a full service marina, local restaurant and bar, post office, and even their own winery.
Big Arm – The shoreline on this part of the lake is less mountainous with more of a gentle slope. Home to Big Arm Resort, offering RV sites, restaurant, and full marina, along with local connivence store and gas station.
